Our Founder

Hello there!

I have been working with animals for 24 years. I started as a vet assistant then to grooming school and on to 3 years of apprenticeship with an industry leading groomer in St. Louis, MO.

Missouri has a high population of of puppy mills therefore a high population of rescues. It has been a passion of mine to make the grooming experience as calm and comfortable as possible for all dogs.

My art is the hand scissor work I’m known for and have honed over two decades. I’ve found house call grooming to be the most relaxed experience for both doggo and groomer alike!

After getting to work with top groomers in the city she has brought her special brand of scissor work and gentle touch to Luxury Groomer.

Rebecca - Groomer

A local born and raised in Queens, Rebecca has been a part of the industry for nearly two decades.

Her passion and meticulous care for dogs began at a young age, and transitioned seamlessly to what it is today.

With an emphasis on comfortability and care, Rebecca looks

forward to making your pet feel safe, comfortable and most importantly

stylish!

Rikako - Groomer

Rikako Goto-Miller is passionate about animal care and welfare.

Born and raised in Japan, she started her career in Pet Grooming in 2000. She is specialized in all standard grooming techniques as well as Asian Fusion styling. She assisted veterinarians prior to, and post operations with specialized grooming skills and as well as specialized canine massage and medical aroma therapy. She joined in the efforts to rescue dogs and cats rendered homeless and traumatized after tragic tsunami at Fukushima. Since arriving to New York, she has watched her reputation grow as a groomer with an unswerving passion for animals.

Renisha - Groomer

Renisha Smith is a talented and motivated groomer from Marblehead, Massachusetts.

She has now been grooming in NYC for over 14 years and continues to expand her grooming career.

She is known for her especially gentle touch and looks forward to making pups personalities shine through their grooming experience and haircuts.

Christopher - Groomer

With over 14 years of experience in the grooming industry, I have been fortunate to groom nearly every breed of dog.

My background is in art and design, and with my training in sculpture, I groom as if I am creating a piece of art.

I visualize shapes in hair, the same way I do in clay, and it allows me to literary sculpt your dog. I am fortunate to spend a majority of my time with my own dog, Monet, a Kerry Blue Terrier.
